Description of Manners

 Hakeemul Ummat Hazrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi days:

Good manners as a

 whole enjoy to be instinctive. Tempers wholly and solly , in accordance with creation stand to be neither good nor bad. It takes the epitome of praiseworthy or unpraiseworthy only by it's utilisation.ومن حديث أبي أمامة، عن النبي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال: " من  أعطى لله ومنع لله فقد استكمل الإيمان " . وخرجه  أحمد، والترمذي من حديث 

صحيح البخاري

It means the person who gave only for the sake of Allah and detained for the sake of Allah , he rejoiced perfection of his belief [Imaan]

In this holy discourse, there is description of "for Allah" in giving and detaining in both cases,it means being generous is not praiseworthy of itself, likewise being miser or churl is not unpraiseworthy of itself ,but if they both are for the sake of Allah,they are praiseworthy otherwise both are unpraiseworthy.
